Bushmans Kloof Wilderness Reserve and Wellness Retreat

Set against the backdrop of the majestic Cederberg Mountains, Bushmans Kloof Wilderness Reserve and Wellness Retreat offers a variety of locations and dining options for your special day. With a dedicated minister and wedding coordinator, your day will be unique no matter the size of your celebration. The Enchanting Elopement Package is an intimate experience for up to 10 guests and includes the rustic and secluded Kadoro cottage as accommodation, a bouquet of indigenous flowers for the bride, a wedding cake for up to four people, a romantic rose-petal turndown service with sparkling wine, and a set of His & Hers bath sheets. For larger weddings of up to 60 guests, Bushmans Kloof offers Embers, a natural sandstone amphitheatre perched on a dramatic cliff with a wooden deck and a roaring campfire; the Homestead, a haven of old-world charm anf elegance; Makana, an elegant lonuge with twin fireplaces overlooking sweeping lawns and the Boontjies River; or the elevated Manor House deck, protected by an ancient fig tree overlooking manicured fynbos gardens and the river.   Venue hire includes an on-site ceremony with seating of up to a maximum of 60 guests, a wedding gazebo, the use of rustic wooden chairs, and refreshing hand towels for all guests pre- or post-ceremony. In addition, Bushmans Kloof can arrange pre-reception drinks and canapés and all-inclusive receptions, as well as pampering spa treatments for the bridal party in the venue's holistic spa.  

Moonlight & Roses

If you’re on the hunt for a touch of romantic pizzazz, check out Moonlight and Roses. Situated by the Rietvlei Dam just outside of Johannesburg and Pretoria, this is a wedding venue that definitely delivers on stunning location. Nestled just below the mountains and in the Rietvlei nature reserve, the décor includes Grecian pillars, cupid ornaments and oversized fabric bows suspended in trees. A domed outdoor wedding chapel is available to accommodate up to 250 people. Lastingham Guest Lodge

Lake Eland

If you’re heading to the country for your wedding day, The Moon & Sixpence is an exquisite location you should consider. Located just off the N1 and R28 out of Johannesburg, this venue offers warmth, character, and excellent food and service.
