DIY geometric fairy lights

Reminiscent of Chinese paper lanterns these geometric fairy lights will definitely set the romantic scene on your big day. Plus, you are your other half can make them together as a way to spend some quality time together. Even more fun would be a little competition to see who can whip up the most!

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Pencil
Printout of deconstructed polygon (get the template here)
Sheer paper
Scissors
String of fairy lights
Craft glue

STEP ONE

Use a pencil to trace the deconstructed polygon on to sheer paper.

STEP 2

Holding the template and the paper together, cut around the edges of the polygon. Fold along the dotted lines and the edge flaps. Make the folds as sharp as possible.

STEP 3

Place the first light on your string of fairy lights inside a polygon. Glue the flaps of the polygon into place. Repeat the steps for each fairy light.
